I roll the window down
And then begin to breathe in
The darkest country road
And the strong scent of evergreen
From the passenger seat as you are driving me home.

Then looking upwards
I strain my eyes and try
To tell the difference between shooting stars and satellites
From the passenger seat as you are driving me home.

"do they collide?"
I ask and you smile.
With my feet on the dash
The world doesn't matter.

:0 I made a photomanipulation. Again. Rare occasion xD. This is an illustration of one of my favourite songs, Passenger Seat by Death Cab for Cutie ([link])
I just wanted to make a picture of what I imagened with the lyrics. (Yeah, the license plate is supposed to say Death Cab)
Making the car look like it was moving was the hardest part.
I hope you guys like it!

Nice work. Photomanipulations can be very hard to do, so well done. You show close attention to merging the details together to create a whole piece, especially in regards to lighting and its effects on colour. Well done. As a general comment, you do seem to be improving rapidly in your art.

Thank you! I'm really a perfectionist when it comes to photomanipulation, making details most people
wouldn't even notice, like the dust and trees being reflected in the car itself.
I like playing around with lightning and shadow xD
